In these uncertain times, it can feel stressful or overwhelming to think about the future. Yet, at Unpublished we've also found it incredibly helpful to think about all the experiences we love not in terms of what we miss and cannot do currently, but instead of how excited we are to do all the trivial and mundane things we previously took for granted once lockdown is lifted (whatever the world may look like then). We asked you what you were most looking forward to doing once we are free to go out in the world again - here is the full list...
- See my friends (in person!) / spending quality face to face time with my friends
- Take the tube
- Go on holiday / travelling / get out of the country
- Late night pizza slices
- Train with my squad again
- Go bowling
- Run to lunch on a Friday
- Go to Kebab Kid
- Be able to go out freely
- Go to an escape room
- See everyone in my classes/year who make school more enjoyable!
- Ice skate
- Have dinner with my friends at Wahaca
- Just have fun with my friends again!
- Be able to have therapy without my brother storming through the room every 10 minutes
- Get bubble tea
- Lie on the courtyard in the sun
- McDonald's
- Go! To! School!
- Go out to a restaurant
- Get my large oat milk cappuccino from Cafe Nero before my Thursday P5 free
- Watch Buzzfeed tasty videos in ****'s lessons
- Have a Friday night not in the presence of my family
- Bumble around busy London streets again
If you are not already, please remember to STAY AT HOME so that this is all over as quick as possible. Also, many of us at G&L are incredibly privileged, so if you feel able to donate to any COVID-19 relief charities, please do so (the hockey team are raising money for the NHS so you can donate at the link in @gandlhockeysquad 's bio).
Bored at home? We want to help! Tell us what you want to read/see/write by direct messaging @unpublished.gandl on Instagram or using the 'contact' box on this website. Producing content that is relevant but not one-note can be a challenge at the moment, so let us know how we can improve and alter what we are putting out, or what you are enjoying!
